 Relation between Jaichand and Prithviraj : This question is very questionable because jaichandra supported gouri to kill his son in law. 

Jaichand was the king of Kannauj kingdom. (kingdom stretched from gaya to Banaras)

Prithviraj and Jaichand was like a best friend until jaichand's daughter sanyogita haven't fallen in love with brave king prithviraj chauhan. At first the fight of tarain - 1 between prithviraj and gouri , jaichand given some help to the chauhan.

According to some text, early,  Jaichand was a cousin of the Chahamana king - Prithviraj Chauhan. Their mothers were sister born from the Tomara king of Delhi.

But After Sanyogita had fallen in love with Prithviraj Chauhan, and decided to select him as her husband.

Then After Prithviraj Chauhan became Son in law of Jaichand.



What happened to Sanyogita after death of prithviraj chauhan

Some texts say that Sanyogita committed Jauhar in the 12th century in the fort of Ajmer. 
After the death of Prithviraj Chauhan in the fight of tarain war - 2 , sanyogita didn't want to surrender herself in front of gauri , So that she decided to do jauhar.
Then she started Preforming jauhar with all the womens live in the palace.



How did Jaichand and Prithviraj Chauhan become enemies?

Princess sanyogita was impressed by the the bravery of prithviraj Chauhan's story. so Princess sanyogita had fallen in love with prithviraj Chauhan. Jaichandra found out his daughter Sanyogita and Prithviraj were fallen in love. Thats why Jaichand decided to insult Prithviraj by placing a statue that depicte him as a door-keeper of his whole palace. Jaichandra also decide to program Swamvara (a Ritual for a princess to choose her desired husband) for his daughter. But between Swamvara, his daughter placed garland on Prithviraj chauhan's statue. Subsequently, Prithviraj became angry and he raided Jaichand's palace for that, and later eloped with his daughter Sanyogita against his wishes. How did Jaichand and Prithviraj Chauhan become enemies?

During Swayamvara, Jaichand's daughter placed garland on Prithviraj's statue which is at the gate in the position of guard. At that time, Angry Prithviraj raided on Jaichand's palace, and later eloped with his daughter Samyogita against one of his wishes. Thus, Prithviraj and Jaichand became enemies.
